Happy Easter 2009!

By 10:30 we have had 2 egg hunts, two breakfasts and went to Easter church service!

We have a tradition of waking up and doing our Easter Bunny things here, then going to church with Great Grandma and Grandpa Slaughter. They serve a delicious brunch after the service then an egg hunt for the kids. Although this year we missed the cattle call for the start of the hunt and when we got to the lobby all the kids were coming in with full baskets! Hee Hee! Apparently we weren't the only ones, they had some extra filled eggs so the boys were able to go pick some out. That was the easiest hunt ever...and kind of nice because although the rain held off, it was dreary and cold.

Waking up to see what the Easter Bunny had left in their baskets...huge bouncy balls, Webkins, Peeps, hand written certificates for books and to go see Monsters Vs. Aliens...didn't you know the Easter Bunny leaves certificates, well at least on years when mom is pregnant and doesn't have much steam?? :)
Sam got the Webkins Hedgehog he has been wanting....
At church...
Walking to the Easter Egg hunt...oops it had already happened!
Mommy and Keegy at church...
Photo by Sam...he wanted nothing to do with being in the pictures as you can tell by the next shot...
Keegan set the timer for this one...nice to have one with just Keego!
Now Josh is making lasagnas and we are heading off to Great Grandma and Grandpa's!
We are thinking of everyone we love all over during this time of resurrection, a time of renewal.
