We went to have dinner with our dear friends Michelle and Corey on Saturday night. The kids made gingerbread houses. We helped them with the first part and then we got to talking, so they were unsupervised. Incidentally they were on a sugar high, no telling how much candy they ate...notice there is not much on the houses only on the roofs. We decided they looked more like gingerbread trailers! They were literally bouncing up and down, but were having so much fun. Then they crashed after about an hour and the adults stayed up talking till 2 am and we had a 45 minute drive home! Thanks so much Corey and Michelle for having us and for the delicious dinner and for letting the kids make a mess in your kitchen! By the end they were dumping sprinkles and candy into the bowl of frosting and the boys shirts were off.
