Valentines and Basketball

I haven't seen the boys since last weekend and I am really needing some Keegan and Sam time!
Here are some things they did last weekend here in the room. Keegan completed his sports themed Valentines very quickly completely independent and then tried them out by setting up the "football goal". Sam completed 13 out of his 28 with much diligence and concentration. He has a lot of interest in writing and "wrote" his name and made intricate designs in the "to" box. He will not allow us how to show him the correct way to form his letters but he does make a backwards "S" a sideways "M" and an "a". This is one thing I am more relaxed on with the second child. I would have insisted to have Keegan form all his letters conventionally and probably taken some of the fun out of it. Sam was taking so much pride and ownership making them in his own way so we just let him go with it.

Our little lefty!

Aunt Jan came last week while she was in KC for business. We got to visit two evenings. It was GREAT! She came bearing gifts and goodies from both her and Jeni. One of the items was an over-the-door- Nerf Basketball Hoop. It is the perfect thing for the boys to do up here. Josh attached it to the back of the bathroom door. It gives the boys something active to do while they are in this tiny little room. Thanks guys!

Great pics and my main question is: just how big is that pencil! :) You are doing good!
